Guys, I want to buy myself a normal kitchen prep table, so that I can cook comfortably, put out food and not be afraid of dirtying the surface. I was thinking about a wooden one, but I'm afraid that over time it will deteriorate from water and knives. Maybe someone already uses such a table? Which options are really convenient and durable?

I also faced the same choice! Although a wooden table is beautiful, over time scratches appear, water stains and even odors eat into it. I saw that many people take stainless steel, but I don’t know how convenient it is in everyday life. Is it noisy?

Hello everyone. A good table is of course a problem. I just got myself a kitchen prep table from https://www.amazon.com/AmGood-Stainless-Undershelf-Certified-Restaurant/dp/B07K4VD2HJ , and it is the best purchase for the kitchen! It is not afraid of water, knives, hot pots - just wipe it with a rag, and everything is clean. I always have space on it for cutting, cooking and even storing heavy things. Plus, there is a convenient lower shelf where I store pots and dishes.
